With the seventh installment of Pavarotti & Friends: For Cambodia and Tibet, the beloved tenor assembles yet another all-star cast of musicians in hopes of helping the children of Cambodia and Tibet. The music of the pop stars--which ranges from the modern rock of the veteran Eurythmics to the dance-pop of Aqua--really steals the show here, with Pavarotti lending his impeccable vocal support. Tracy Chapman performs "Baby Can I Hold You" as a duet with Pavarotti, and Eurythmics team up with him on "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)." Of course, the tenor's fans will be begging to hear the opera great in his element, and it's no surprise that he shines on Bizet's "Agnus Dei," with international pop star Mónica Naranjo joining in; Eduardo Di Capua's "O Sole Mio," with Savage Garden; or even Luigi Denza's "Funiculi, Funicula," with Aqua and a children's chorus. This collection of music has given me great pleasure. Aqua's Around the World is a joy. Hearing the Eurythmics and Pavarotti perform together is fun and beautiful. I also especially liked Enrique Iglesias's Be with you. 20 tracks and 77 minutes of great music I will listen to again and again. And all for a good cause.
George Michael's breathtaking interpretation of "Brother, can you Spare a Dime?" is by itself reason enough to make you add this wonderful live recorded CD to your collection. If you're still sceptic, Luciano Pavarotti's duets with Skunk Anansie " You'll follow me Down" and Tracy Chapman "Baby, can I hold you tonight" will help you make up your mind. And of course, Savage Garden's rendition of "O Sole Mio" and Eurythmics classic " There must be an Angel" are other arguments to take into consideration. Also Luciano's duets with Enrique Iglesias " Cielito Lindo" and with Aqua "Funicolì, funiculá" are great fun.

Peter just keeps getting better. Why a major label has not pick up Peter is unbelieveable. This short but great CD is just one more showing of Peter's talents. I listen to this CD at least once a week if not more it has joined my top 10 list. You will not go wrong with this CD that's for sure.
There is nothing spare about the music here...great lyrics, superb sound, and the terrific voice and guitar work! You will be sure to keep it in your cd player! Enjoy!
