String Swing Metal Guitar Wall Hanger Reviews

Though the dry-wall braces are a little hard to get into the wall all the way without stripping (and after certainly leaving HUGE holes in the wall), I would bet a gorilla swinging from the neck of my bass couldn't pull this heavy-duty sucker down. I feel pretty secure with my guitars hanging 3 ft. off the ground with this unit in the wall.

I have about 10 of these in my guitar room now, and I love em! I used to use floor stands, but these are so much more sensible and convenient. By getting your guitars off the floor, they don't get bumped into/knocked over, and they really free up space.
The installation is cake, and you won't be disappointed in the String Swing's stability. Your guitars will look as if they are on display, and I have discovered that your "musically curious" buddies won't mess with the instruments that are hanging on the wall.
This is just my personal opinion, but I prefer the lower-profile of the metal plate design over the wood block version of this item.
If you're considering these, get 'em!

OnStage RS7030 Rack Stand Reviews

Hi for anybody looking for a desktop rack for the cisco lab this is it. It has a lean towards the back for balance but for the price you cant beat it. It has holes to be a 12u rack but its more of a 11u rack depending on how many switches, routers, model thickness, etc. Cheap and holds my equipment for my ccna/ccnp lab. I have 2 switches and 5 routers. Comes with a bag of 47 screws so i see no reason to buy any additional screws. All in all i highly recommend it.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. It is a fine product. The first one I bought was used to mount a number of ethernet switches for my home business when the entire house was wired with cat5 and fiber. This latest one has been used to hold a number of musical recording effects modules. This is a great product because it is the minimum solution for a desktop, and yet is strong enough for the job, and light enough to move around. It is priced very nicely for what it is. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is perfect for anyone that wants to mount a number of 19 inch modules, and still have access to the back of the units. I am very impressed with the manufacturing of the unit. The welds are strong and it is easily assembled in seconds. I am happy to put my name on this review and let people know that I stand by this product as a wonderful solution at a great price.

RockStand Folding Multiple Guitar Stand (for 5 Guitars) Reviews

I've seen a few of these before I ordered one. When it works, it is a good, solid product that can hold multiple guitars in a small space. However, the legs on the one I ordered are uneven, the welding between the parts looks shoddy, and the whole thing wobbles-- not exactly the piece of furniture that I would trust with holding a few thousand dollars worth of instruments. I'm returning mine and opting for tripod style stands, which are stable on any floor surface.

I was bit worried ordering this considering the previous reviews, but since I needed a stand that held more than 3 guitars I figured I'd try it.
My only real beef is that I ordered it new but I obviously received a used stand (or at least a returned one). The box was actually open, not even closed and taped. And some of the pieces were scratched. I would guess it may have been a store display item so I'm a bit peeved at the seller, but since the stand is going in my basement and the marks were what I figured we'd be putting on it anyway through using it I decided to put it together to see if it was worth keeping.
Thankfully there is a picture on the box of what the finished stand looks like because the directions were slightly confusing, but I managed to put it together by myself in about a a 1/2 hour. At one point, the directions indicated that the bottom piece should be level on the floor (before the back/top was attached) and if it wasn't, to "adjust". Mine wasn't level and I was pretty confused as to "how" to adjust to fix it. I did the best I could, attached the rest and it still wasn't quite flat on the floor (though only slightly off). The weight of the guitars seem hold it flat down to the floor, plus it will be used a carpeted surface so I think it'll be fine. The rubber material is great, really holds items in place. I have an electric, acoustic, small child size acoustic & rockband guitar on the stand and they all fit just fine and seem held sturdy. I would recommend this stand if you are looking for one that holds 5 guitars and takes up minimal space.
After writing my review, I happened to come across a similar stand but curved...it looks WAY cooler...wish I would have seen it before purchasing this one, and it's the same price! http://www.amazon.com/RS20885-5-Guitar-Curved-Stand/dp/B001FQD172/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1272260556&sr=1-2

OnStage GS7352B Heavy Duty Triple Guitar Stand, Black Reviews

I have had several brands of guitar stands over the years. On Stage is a good brand however, the 3 guitar stand is disappointing. In fact I would have sent it back had I not thrown away the box and the invoice that came with it. Overall the construction is good but the arms that support the guitar necks are not long enough and so the headstocks are about 1/8th of an inch apart and if you're not careful the heads and tuners bump into each other. I have another brand that has longer arms and the guitars do not bump each other at all. Maybe this stand would be ok for small guitars but not if you want to display 3 dreadnoughts on the same stand.

This product is easy to assemble. I'm very happy with it. It keeps my three guitars safely in one space instead of falling all over the place. Only thing I would change : the elastic pieces that hold the guitar in place at the neck could be a little more flexible. Its hard to get off when you want to take your guitar out. But that is not worth giving this product less than 5 stars. I'm very happy with it.

String Swing Wall Guitar Hanger Reviews

This thing isn't some fancy item with tons of features to review, but it does what it's supposed to: it grips your guitar or bass securely, saves some floor space, displays your instrument nicely, and puts it in plain sight and arm's reach so that you can practice more often. I also like the fact that it's wood and not some ugly polyethelyne plastic or something like that. As I couldn't find a stud in my wall, I mounted this thing on the side of my wood bookshelf and it looks and works beautifully. One thing: DO NOT JUST DRILL ANYWHERE INTO YOUR WALL FOR THIS THING!! Make sure you mount it in a stud or on some significant piece of wood, because odds are some day the weight of your guitar or bass will rip it out of drywall and then you may or may not have damaged your instrument. So, buy one or five of these and make a nice display of your axes.
-Stephen

I've purchased similar wall hangers from some of the online musical instrument dealers for to and was skeptical when I saw these for around . I am happy to report that the structural quality is as high as the more expensive options and (to my surprise) the wood grain is much better looking than the picture would indicate.
Others have suggested that these be mounted to a stud but the included drywall anchors, when installed correctly, are very secure and would easily withstand the heaviest guitar you have (unless, perhaps, you play a 4" thick solid ebony instrument). If your studs are 16" apart, you could utilize them (staggered mounting if necessary) and get a fairly dense wall of guitars but if your studs are 24" apart you'll have a large (8"+) gap between instruments and may wish to opt for drywall anchors for some instruments as I have.
The back of my acoustic instruments (000, 00, Parlor & Classical) sit well clear of the back wall so I haven't had the need to put protective backing on the wall behind them (consider some backing if children or careless adults will be removing & replacing instruments from the wall). If you plan to use these for electrics, I'd opt for the electric specific hangers so they hang closer to the wall.
As a guitar builder, here's some advice for any newbies:
Keep your instrument in it's (humidity controlled) hard case except when playing. Failing that, keep it up high using a wall hanger and control humidity for the entire room (40 to 50%). I've seen far too many instruments get damaged when sitting down on a guitar stand.
